Lucinda Koza created I-Ally from a place of great, deep need — not only her own need but an enormous need she felt and heard from those like her. Millions of millennials are 40% more likely to be taking care of an aging parent, and millennials comprise over 1/3 of multi-generational family caregivers. She realized her millennial caregivers don’t relate to the traditional messaging that is geared toward family caregivers. She felt they are different. They are younger, more diverse, and most likely provide the bulk of care all by themselves. Lucinda knew millennials needed something different.
I-Ally is not just a place to support each other and be with people who have a shared experience; not just a place to get the best resources and information available; not just a place to focus on health and wellbeing; but also a vehicle for empowerment.
